Dressed for the A-Bomb A salute to the refuges of the Bikini Islands, who lost their home to US atomic bomb testing. The US detonated 67 bombs there from 1946-1958. Their homeland is still unsafe for habitation, yet our government refuses to pay to clean it up. It's ironic that the bikini bathing suit was named for this atrocity. |
